BOA St. Louis Trip Info & Account Set-up

As announced last Spring, the marching band is traveling to St. Louis this October to perform in the Bands of America St. Louis Super Regional contest for the first time ever!!

 

WHEN: October 15-19

TRANSPORTATION: Charter buses

LODGING: BOA assigns our hotel, and we should have that info soon!

MEALS: All meals will be covered by the trip fee

CONTEST INFO: Prelims October 17, Finals October 18

 

We will depart the evening of Wednesday, October 15 and return on Sunday, October 19.

Students will miss just two days of school (that Thursday & Friday), and there will be opportunities during travel and during our stay in STL for students to work on school work, etc.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BEING A CHAPERONE?

 

We need up to 20 parent chaperones to travel with us to and from St. Louis and to help the band staff with certain tasks like taking attendance, room checks, meal money distribution, etc.

Note: We will be rehearsing a good portion of our time in STL, so the majority of your time chaperoning will be while traveling on the bus and while at the hotel.

IMPORTANT: All members of MGJ Band are members of the marching band. ALL MEMBERS of the marching band are required to travel & perform at this contest as members of the MGJ Band program.

 

As outlined at the May parent meeting and in the Financial Agreement, a separate payment plan has been created for the STL trip. See more below.

 

STL TripAccountSet-up

ALL BAND & GUARD MEMBERS must have an account set up with the travel company.

 

Website Registration Instructions:

Student and Chaperone Registration
1. Visit our website at: https://www.etadventures.com/
Click the green text in the top section of the screen that says: "Customer Login"
2. Next you will be prompted to enter your trip code which is: moe25
3. On the next screen you should choose the option to "Access Account" and then you will be prompted to create an account using your email address or your personal Google account.
4. Once you are into your account, select Add a New Trip, and then enter moe25.
5. You should see your trip details at that point, and then select Make a New Reservation and complete ALL fields.

 

NOTE: All students should choose a QUAD room!! Chaperones will choose the room that meets their plans and needs, but ALL STUDENTS ROOM WITH STUDENTS (no students rooming with parents.)

All band members MUST pay their trip fee through the Educational Travel Adventures website:

 

The trip fee is $400.00 for the trip to St. Louis, on the following payment schedule:

 

  • PAYMENT 1: $125 By June 20, 2025

  • PAYMENT 2: $125 By July 21, 2025

  • PAYMENT 3: $150 By August 13, 2025

 

PLEASE NOTE: All trip payments are made directly to the travel company. Boosters will not take payments from individuals or cover payments for individuals for the STL trip.
